Brief

To build awareness of MDEC's efforts in developing and promoting Malaysia's transition to a digital economy by 2020 and to spread its message to global media.

The Redhill Way

REDHILL worked with MDEC to craft its communications, build its image, and spread its message. We organised curated trips to Japan, India and Singapore, so MDEC's leadership could interact with media and relevant industry stakeholders. In Singapore, REDHILL organised a private lunch with top VCs and startups that allowed then-CEO Datuk Yasmin to directly convey her thoughts about the Malaysian startup ecosystem to a relevant audience.

Results

REDHILL secured interviews with Bloomberg, DealStreetAsia, Reuters, Economic Times, Hindu Business Line, and publications in Japan to ensure global stakeholders covered MDEC's value proposition.
