ASEAN Youth Survey
2019 and 2020 Editions
Content & Research
Brief
To analyze the role of Southeast Asian youth as drivers of economic, cultural, social, and political change.
The Redhill Way
Redhill created a survey to be conducted across seven of the ten ASEAN member countries. We employed robust primary research techniques to provide a snapshot of the aspirations and opinions of young people between the ages of 18-35. Our specific focus was on politics, the economy, personal security, education, life choices and social media consumption. The survey was designed to balance general perspectives across the region with the specific nuances in each country.
Results
Around 2,000 participants completed the survey in each year. Country-specific insights were shared with media across Southeast Asia – with coverage appearing in print, radio, and video media in various countries across the region.
